Choosing a Location

How do i choose a venue?

Well to begin let's see, there are thousands of catering halls in the metro area and most of the times brides do not know where to start looking for one. Manhattan brides want to go to Long Island and Westchester, Long Island brides want to go to the city, Bronx, Brooklyn and out of town brides with roots in the metro area want to come to Long Island. it is near impossible to dictate one specifically location. Locations must be looked viewed and reviewed again and again; Do the walk through, read the reviews, ask questions ..... lots of them... ask your Maitre D' and the sales person you first meet with, make a lot of phone calls, do not be afraid to call and ask questions . even silly questions sometimes are important and necessary. Nowadays brides are very savvy they know what they want and they'd go to meetings armed with the latest bridal magazines. lots of them !!!
Whenever choosing a location choose the place you fall in love with the minute you walk in. Before doing that... do your homework, the first question you should ask yourself and your future husband is what's our budget? can we afford this place? The answer to that questions is likely to be YES!!!! you can afford it.
Every location would offer you something different; the architecture of each building is it's own, venues come in all sizes and shapes from small to smaller to a very large ones. some venues would promise one wedding at the time some others must do several affairs at once. It's important when choosing a venue whichever you would like to have your party at; does two or more affairs at the time bother you? if the answer is yes, then don't even bother looking for a place so big it looks like a large concert arena. Remember the more private and exclusive the venue, the more expensive it is. more at www.youtube.com ......
